WILKES-BARRE — A free workshop will be held Wednesday night to address the humane treatment of feral cats.

The workshop presented by Alley Cat Allies will be held in the THINK Center, 7 South Main St. from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

In the program “Helping Cats in Your Community,” Alley Cat Allies will discuss the Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) approach to dealing with the cats. It also will cover topics of TNR benefits, laws that affect cats, animal shelters, animal control officers and the community.
