LARKSVILLE — Firefighters from several West Side companies are battling a fire involving multiple vehicles at James Tabit and Sons Scrapyard on Washington Avenue this morning.

Firefighters responded to the scrapyard at about 5:30 a.m. finding multiple junked vehicles engulfed in flames.

Thick black heavy smoke could be seen as far away as the Hanover Industrial Park in Hanover Township and blowing south with gusty wind speeds of 25 mph. Temperatures are in the high teens as firefighters are battling the blaze.

There were no immediate reports of any injuries.
